Rare Opportunity
“Rare opportunity” is one of the most common phrases in listing copy because it creates urgency quickly.
Sometimes it is inflated. Sometimes it is fair.
A property may genuinely be rare if it offers something not often seen in that area:
an original old house on a larger block
a tightly held location
a historic home with intact details
a practical early-entry project in a hard-to-access suburb
a property type buyers struggle to find
The phrase matters most when the scarcity is specific and easy to understand.
If the house is only being called rare because the agent needs stronger copy, it usually feels thin. But when the rarity is real, buyers tend to sense it quickly.
