Scope to Improve

“Scope to improve” is one of the more straightforward listing phrases.

It usually means the home already works on some level, but there is room to update, add, refresh or rethink parts of it. The improvement may be cosmetic, practical or more substantial depending on the property.

For RenoScouter buyers, the key question is not whether there is scope. Almost any dated home has scope.

The real question is whether the likely effort lines up with the likely reward.

A home with scope to improve is only attractive if the starting point is good enough to justify the process.
